CHINESE LED DISPLAY / BINARY TO CHINESE CONVERTER
When the handle is turned, this relay - based computer first counts the number of turns in 3 bits of binary, enabling it to count from 0 to 7. The next stage of the machine translates this into sequential output, but for convenience I have renumbered these outputs 1 to 8. The next board drives the 9 - segment chinese numerical display that I designed myself by simplifying a set of chinese numbers as much as possible, which counts from 1 to 8 in chinese.
